
Huntley man wanted amongst two others for the death of a Carpentersville man
WEST DUNDEE – The West Dundee Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the whereabouts of three men indicted by a Kane County Grand Jury on July 20, who were identified as the offenders of a June 10 road rage incident that resulted in one fatality.
Police are urging for 30-year-old Peter Stoyshich of Belize, Central America, 41-year-old Kurt Doporcyk of Algonquin and 32-year-old Ryan Barrett of Huntley, to turn themselves in as they are not currently in custody, but have an arrest warrant out for each of them.
All three men have been indicted each with a second-degree murder charge, one charge for aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, one charge for aggravated battery in a public way and a mob action charge.
The June 10 physical altercation occurred in the parking lot of a Casey’s gas station, located at 700 S. 8th Street (Route 31) in West Dundee at approximately 7:38 a.m.
Police were dispatched to the gas station in response to an altercation between six men that resulted from a motorist dispute between two cars.
According to the Village of West Dundee press release, “Three people from one car were left injured,” with one of those individuals, later identified by the Kane County Coroner’s Office as 52-year-old Alex T. Hall Jr. of Carpentersville, having succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, July 13.
Raymond Hall, a family member who set up a GoFundMe account for Alex, stated that Alex was a hardworking, single father of two children who was “defending his son’s life whom which was hospitalized and badly injured,” during the altercation.
Alex died at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, where he was then transported to the Kane County Morgue.
An autopsy was performed on Monday, June 14 where the preliminary cause of death was determined to be blunt trauma to the neck.
Toxicology samples were sent to a forensic lab for further analysis.
At the time, no arrests had been made, however, West Dundee Police Chief Anthony Gorski, had made a statement that “those responsible for this senseless loss of life have been identified.”
The West Dundee Police Department is requesting anyone with information pertaining to the incident or the location of the three wanted suspects to contact them at 847-551-3810 or dial 911.
Raymond says that donations from the GoFundMe account will help with funeral costs, medical bills and living expenses for Alex’s two sons.
As of current, over $7,000 has been raised of the $25,000 goal.
