Huntley entrapment accident sends one person to the hospital with serious injuries
HUNTLEY – On July 24, there was a reported accident that occurred at the location of Conley Road and Route 47 in Huntley.
The Lake & McHenry County Scanner stated that the accident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. and involved a 2017 Ford Fiesta having rear ended a 2018 Ford F-450 truck.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta was reported as being a 35-year-old Woodstock man, who failed to identify that traffic had stopped in front of him, the Lake & McHenry County Scanner said.
A Colorado woman by the name of Tamara Wilson, stated that the Woodstock man was her brother-in-law, but did not provide further information.
The Woodstock man was taken by ambulance to the Northwestern Medicine Hospital in Huntley, where he was then airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville to treat his serious injuries.
A Bartlett woman who did not wish to be identified citing the complexity of the situation, stated that the two men in the Ford F-450 truck, a 39-year-old Elgin man and a 52-year-old Genoa man, are both employees of her family-owned masonry and hardscape installation business.
“I just pray all involved recover,” she said.
According to the Lake & McHenry County Scanner, the two men in the Ford truck, were treated for minor injuries.
My Huntley News is still waiting for a response from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office who is currently investigating the incident.
