Name, Place: “I went to school to be a pastry chef. I have been doing that the last 5 years working at Jarosch Bakery. I still want to continue to follow this path. This industry is so cool being able to be creative in so many different ways. I have worked in a couple of different bakeries and being able to see how each place works is rewarding. Seeing the passion go into it is the best. I am going to continue to show my skills and how much I have grown.” | ![]() |

Cydney Craig: “I’m looking to be in the beauty industry for my future career. I would be looking at about two years of college experience. Learning about hair, eyelashes, facials, eyebrows, waxing, and now I am also thinking about having my own business combining all of that with tanning beds in one big building to make it easier for customers to have access to all of it at the same time. I love where I work now at L.A. Tan, and I’m looking forward to learning a lot from this experience.” | ![]() |

Jessica Mayerhofer: “Throughout high school, I felt the pressure of trying to find a career that I would be doing for the rest of my life. After flipping through pages of choices, I finally came to the realization that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Since then, I knew I wanted to own a business even with the hard work that comes with it. To reach my goal, my partner and I have started a small cleaning business and have been working to build our clientele early on in our career. Although start up is never easy, it has been paying off and every day is another day closer to my goal!” | ![]() |

Cassandra DeSmet: “After 10 years of management, adding up everything I have learned and experienced along with my personal growth, I have realized that I am capable of much more than where I was working and what I was doing. I have spent the last few years imagining running my own business and even helping others grow along the way. Early this year I made the decision to go for it. What seemed like such a scary and risky thought, has so far been a risk worth taking. My business partner and I have only just begun starting up a cleaning business, and so far that scary decision has been one of my best ones yet. ” | ![]() |
