HUNTLEY — The Huntley Police Department is now accepting applications for the upcoming Citizen Police Academy (CPA) according to a police department press release.
The CPA is scheduled to begin March 15, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and will meet every Wednesday night through May 17 at Huntley Police Department, located at 10911 Main Street, Huntley.

It consists of classes and discussions which provide an overview of the various areas of law enforcement. It is an educational and informative program that allows citizens the opportunity to learn about the issues that affect law enforcement efforts in the Village of Huntley.
The CPA is free of charge and is open to individuals who are 18 years of age and live and work in the Village of Huntley. Applicants will be subject to a background check. Residents who are interested in attending the CPA and would like an application, they are available at the Huntley Police Department, or may be downloaded from the Huntley Police Department website, bit.ly/CitizenPoliceAcademy2023.
