Friends Foundation group staying active this spring

HUNTLEY  — Huntley Area Public Library Friends Foundation members Reta Stohs, left and Sharon Peacock, stand near a portion of the book collection which was available for sale to members. DVDs and other items were available for purchase. Stohs and Peacock both live in Sun City. The group’s next fundraiser is at Culver’s of Huntley from 4 to 8 p.m. March 27.  The Friends Foundation group will also have a breakfast May 10 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills. Register at the library’s information desk. Sarah Sullivan, McHenry County College Department Chair for Economics, Political Science, and History, will discuss King Louis XIV, “The Sun King.”
