Free food, drinks, and family fun to be featured at the Huntley Area Community EXPO

HUNTLEY — Set to take place on March 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Huntley Community EXPO at the Huntley Park District Gym (12015 Mill Street). The event is free and will showcase over 70 vendors, live entertainment, and amazing food and drink samples from local businesses.

According to the chamber, the free drink samples will feature beer and wine for those 21 years and older. Food samples will come from local restaurants.

In addition to the free samples, attendees can purchase a variety of unique products from home-based businesses.

Individuals can look forward to entertainment at various times throughout the day including a balloon artist and a glitter tattoo artist at 9 a.m.; a variety show by RC Juggles at 10 a.m.; Rebbecca McCarthy Irish Dancers at 11 a.m.; Huntley Park District Cheerleaders at noon; Heineman Middle School Jazz Band and Choir at 1 p.m.; and a dog fashion show sponsored by Pet Vet at 2 p.m.

“This year’s EXPO is going to be bigger and better than ever,” said Executive Director of the Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce Nancy Binger. “With free food and drink samples, exciting entertainment, and amazing businesses showcasing their products and services, there’s truly something for everyone.”
