D158 communications leader moves to new role
HUNTLEY — Huntley Community School District 158’s (D158) leader of its communication, Director Alexandra LeMoine, will head to a new challenge in the 2023-24 school year.
LeMoine issued a press release statement about her tenure at D158 and her new opportunity, as an education outreach manager for International Corrugated Packaging Foundation.
“I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have worked in D158 over the past couple of years,” LeMoine said in a press release statement. “As director of communications, I was able to hold a unique lens that allowed me to stay connected with all of our stakeholder groups. Just as education continues to evolve to meet the needs of our students, communications practices in school district plays an important role in keeping families informed and finding new ways to evaluate the hard work and successes of our school community. It has been a privilege to work in school public relations in pursuit of this goal and I so enjoyed supporting a district as innovative as Huntley D158.”
D158’s communications office has been in existence for about 10 years. Denise Barr has been appointed by the Board of Education to succeed LeMoine as Director of Communications and Public Relations.
LeMoine spoke of her new career opportunity.
“In my next role, I’m excited to move into the non-profit sector as an education outreach manager, connecting students across the country with career opportunities and resources to be successful beyond high school,” LeMoine stated.
