Early voting in Huntley has begun
Huntley – It’s voters in and voters out all day long at the Huntley Park District offices, 12015 Mills Street, where early voting began Monday morning. Residents with the proper identification and proof of address can register to vote, and those already registered can vote in the General Election. If voters requested a mail-in ballot but changed their mind and now want to vote in person, they can bring the mail-in ballot to the Park District offices, surrender it, and vote on the available machines. Early voting will be conducted Monday through Friday through Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday through Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A ballot drop box is not available in Huntley, so voters who wish to drop off a mail-in ballot, instead of mailing it, will have to visit the McHenry County Administration Building in Woodstock, McHenry Township Office in Johnsburg, the Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake, McHenry City Hall in McHenry, or the Lake in the Hills Village Hall in Lake in the Hills.
