HUNTLEY — On Oct. 30, John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. (JBSS), a leading manufacturer and distributor of nut and snack products, will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony to present its new warehouse facility in the village. The celebration will take place at 2 p.m.
The event will feature remarks from JBSS board members and staff, local village officials, and members of the Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Chamber Ambassadors. The ribbon cutting will mark the official opening of the facility, highlighting JBSS’s continued growth.
The industrial property is located at 12300 Jim Dhamer Drive and spans 444,600 square feet. Jeffrey Sanfilippo, the chief executive officer of JBSS entered into a lease agreement for the property with Mark Goode of Venture One Real Estate. The lease supports JBSS’s expansion plan following their recent acquisition of TreeHouse Foods’ snack bars business.
Along with the ceremony, attendees will have the chance to tour the new facility and gain insight into JBSS’s operations.
“We are thrilled to expand our footprint in Huntley and be a part of this community,” said Sanfilippo. “This new facility will not only help us meet growing demand for our products but also create jobs and new opportunities for local residents.”
