“We’re here every Saturday and really enjoy the coming here,” Marcy Prchal owner of Trogg’s Hollow of Poplar Grove said. She and husband Trogg own the farm.

Huntley Park District hosted a kickoff event for GO Huntley, which promotes walking 30 minutes each day for better health. Dozens of youngsters and their parents gathered at a park near Huntley Area Public Library and learned about Huntley Area Fire Protection District’s services and enjoyed a book. Philip Adams, public education and community outreach coordinator for HFPD, read “Matt the Fire Engine” book and also gave facts about the local fire department.
