According to Kenneally, Fox had been charged with the murders of Algonquin residents Leonard and Noreen Gilard. The murders occurred in the couple’s home located at 635 Red Coach Lane on Nov. 6, 2020.

Cowlin imposed the sentence following a contested sentencing hearing where the court heard evidence surrounding the crime and information on Fox’s background.

The case is part of Raoul’s ongoing work, in collaboration with federal law enforcement agencies and local law enforcement officials throughout Illinois, to apprehend offenders who download and trade child pornography online, according to a press release statement.

The felonies were filed in the Dekalb County Circuit Court, with each charge being punishable by up to seven years in prison, said Raoul.

According to the initial investigation, the Dually Dodge was heading northbound on Route 47 when it attempted to stop in traffic.

The information was obtained back in June from the Internet Crimes Against Children database, where after a four-month investigation, the Huntley Police Department’s Investigations Division was able to identify the offender as 29-year-old Allen Q. Nguyen.

One of those recommendations involved the construction of a “contextually appropriate” two-story parking garage with a historic façade at the corner of Jackson and River Street.

True North came forward with conceptual renderings for the redevelopment of the building, which will see it be converted to accommodate it for restaurant use.

A deadline date of Jan. 27 was set for the invitation of alternative bids and proposals for the former Village Hall building, but no other propositions from developers were submitted.
