HUNTLEY — The Huntley girls lacrosse team rose to the challenges and posted an above .500 season at 11-10 this season.
The Red Raiders' post-season hopes were dashed by Barrington, 9-5, at the Huntley sectional May 22. Five players - Katie Ferrara, Ally Schneider, Leah Holmberg and Ashley Zolen, tallied goals. Head coach Joe Domka reflected on the season and the team's leaders.
"Ferrara has had her best statistical career as of yet, with 67 goals, 31 assists, 62 ground balls and 41 caused turnovers," Domka said.
